Help

I got the "accidental release" for windows insiders on my l640 & it is bricked.

I have tried over and over to restore it with windows device recovery tool, it downloaded the firmware but at approx 25% of the installation, the device reboots and it fails telling me to try again.

I can only access flashing mode, but as stated; wprt fails every time.

PLS help .

It has ended badly for my Lumia. I followed a guide that almost worked, but I flashed the single ffu file when I was meant to use the path to the firmware I had manually downloaded with all required files. Now the device is totally dead.

I will go out tomorrow & purchase an new wm 10 phone u can get them for ~$100 .

Thankyou all for the efforts.

I am sorry to hear that this happened. It may not be the end though for the phone. Even if they do not show life most Lumia phones can be recovered from what appears to be a "bricked" state. No screen activity/black screen...This is done by using a set of emergency files and the FFU for your phone. It would require a bit more time and technical effort though.
