No they just need the transition from the people hub to facebook app, when opening a post, a bit smoother.. Get rid of the annoying splash screen..
This is correct, but I'm not sure the OP really wants the OLD hub, as much as some of the old features. For example, the 8.1 hub still shows my Facebook status messages, as well as how many comments it has. Since it is still pulling in my updates, why not pull in the comments for me to read? Sure if I want to reply to any of them, take me to the app. I'm cool with that, but just give some people some more "read only" stuff. And maybe that is coming.
The only thing I miss from the people hub is the ability to post to both Twitter and Facebook at the same time
The OP needs to read Daniel post on this. There is a ton more that can be done with how it is now than before. The apps just aren't ready yet. The integration is determined by how far the developer of the app wants to take it. As far as the Facebook app goes, the time it takes for the app to open once I hit "post to timeline" is 1/2 second max. I post then hit the back button & i'm back to the hub in 1/4 second.....
I don't want old people in my hub. Sick.
No need for it anymore. However I would like to see smart dialing now after 8.1!
The integrated FB was lagging too much, they had to let it go. Not lagging in speed, it was great on that, but lagging in features. Posts/groups not showing and couldnt like replies. Sad to see it go, but its better that they will push to give us in the future one good(BEST) solution to FB than 2-3-4-5 crippled ones.
