I am testing out the policies for Windows 10 mobile. We enforced a password and it prompts to create a PIN, however when pushing down AlphanumericDevicePasswordRequired and setting it to 0. I am still unable to create an Alphanumeric password, only Numeric.
The default is also alphanumeric, but the device will only prompt for numeric.
DeviceLock/AlphanumericDevicePasswordRequired
Determines the type of PIN or password required. This policy only applies if the DevicePasswordEnabled policy is set to 0 (required).
The following list shows the supported values:
0 ? Alphanumeric PIN or password required.
1 ? Numeric PIN or password required.
2 (default) ? Users can choose: Numeric PIN or password, or Alphanumeric PIN or password.
Anyone else having this issue? I have a feeling it's a Windows 10 mobile bug.
