Calendar notifications not showing on lock screen [Lumia 1520] How to fix?

Getting super frustrated because I can't solve this simple problem.

The daily calendar reminders are not showing on my lock screen under the time.

In settings, I have calander set as the app to show detailed status on.

Using a1520 with Denim.

Have you used a custom lock screen app in the past? Could have bugged it out. You can try "resetting" your lock screen by turning Kid's Corner on then back off.
