New, out of the box, this PM. There is no Setting (that I can find) where I can able call filtering (blocking). Any way I can get it to show?

Fairly unremarkable setup of this new phone, but I did have to reset to factory state once and then restore my backed-up 830. Everything else seems to be running OK.

They took it out of extras where "Call & SMS Filter" was and put it right into the apps (and they're now calling it "Block and Filter" - and legacy devices have both options in Settings>Phone>Choose apps). In the call history, press and hold, then block number. In SMS, it's in the ... menu.

Hey,
I just got a group text, and I can't find a way to block the numbers. If you long tap the thread u only get the options to Mute or Delete. If I open the thread and tap the numbers at the top I'm taken to a page "Conversation Info" that lists the numbers, but tapping them just sets up a contact page (unknown contact, save) and doesn't have any block function. If you add to contacts it appears as a contact in the list but you still can't block it. The only guess I have is to call them or text them individually and then block them, but I don't want to call or text any of these numbers as I suspect spam.

I'm entering a request into the feedback tool, but if anyone knows how to enter numbers to block by hand (the way the old call+SMS app used to allow) please let me know.

Try this for Lumia 950/950 xl's -
Go to Settings -> System -> Phone. On the 'Phone' window, scroll down and look for an option - Choose apps. Click on it and for the section - Calling & Messaging, ensure that 'Block and Filter' is chosen. Once this is done, go back to the message, long press it and you should get the 'Block' option.

This did work for me given that it was sent from a specific mobile phone.
