I asked when it would ship. She said with the time of day, 3:30pm, and being In Stock, it would definitely ship today. She confirmed I will receive it tomorrow, Thursday, by 3pm. With 2-day shipping, sent out tomorrow, I'm wondering if it would even be received Saturday. Anytime I've shipped with FedEx, 2-day shipping was Monday-Friday, unless you paid extra for Saturday delivery. Not sure Verizon adds a Saturday delivery by default, meaning next Tuesday with the Monday being a holiday.

Yes, sorry, I meant to say Monday not Saturday. FedEx and UPS, unless otherwise told, will ship on business days. However, sometimes, using ground will yield a Saturday delivery.

This is why I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning, and order it then. I would rather error on the side of caution.

Dude I totally got shut down when i called Verizon. The lady said she could talk about that phone until it appeared on the website, any questions I asked she refused to answer...weird

For those that placed their orders already, I have a question.

Did they stipulate that shipping will commence today or that it will start tomorrow? My hesitation is that they will confuse ship dates, or that they are not allowed to ship until tomorrow. So if I asked for 2nd day shipping, thinking that I will get it Friday, I will actually get it Sat. (which is not a good thing as I will be flying that day).

Mine shipped today I have a tracking number which confirms fedex picked up the package and its in transit, this is 2-day shipping btw.

Even though she told me it would ship today/arrive tomorrow, I'm very skeptical until I get the confirmation email. Last time it took a couple of hours before I got the email.

I HATE those reps. I got a couple of them yesterday. One lady, as soon as I mentioned the word "Trophy", immediately said "no" very curtly. Just gotta keep on trying.

I'm glad you checked that they actually scanned the package. A lot of people think that once you get a tracking number they automatically assume it's in transit. It's only moving once the driver scans the package (I know I work in shipping).

Yeah I have talked to several today and some were straight shady and others were really nice, but none were able to place and order for the Trophy today. One lady said it will go on the website at 2am mountain time and i could get it then, while another rep wouldn't tell me anything...thats Verizon

Just ordered mine, they wouldn't give me the overnight shipping but it's on the way (Friday is when I'll get it). The service rep didn't know anything about the xbox game either, but I assume that we'll probably get something in the box that'll let us redeem it. If anyone gets their phone tomorrow, let us know if you have any details about the game offer.

They told me they can't put the order today...

Just ordered mine via phone

I just ordered mine from a very nice and helpful young lady located in Washington state. She placed the order, tried to get the overnight but couldn't so I paid for it; not here Thursday.

I got it for $199 less $30 NE2 discount and also the $50 instant rebate that I get via credit card. I got the order number and it is shipping today for Thursday AM delivery.

I'll let all know when it comes; can't wait.:happy:

I called, got a gentleman called Kevin. He said he couldn't order it today. He gave me the SKU, which is mwp6985vw; maybe one of you will have more luck.

He did say, as others have mentioned, that if you order it online it will automatically default to 2-day shipping, and if you order it through the phone they can do overnight. In terms of pricing, he said that Telesales can match any online price; I asked this in the context of getting an instant rebate online vs. mail-in rebate elsewhere. Telesales opens tomorrow at 7 a.m. Pacific.

That sucks. The guy I talked to placed the order to be charged to my account. He gave me an order # and an 877 # to call to confirm the purchase. I called and confirmed, but have not received an email or update on my verizon confirming the purchase.

I called back and a female rep told me that all upgrades on online orders require manager approval and that it could take up to 24 hours. I expressed that the phone arrival/ship date would impact my weekend plans as it requires signature, and she went to talk to a supervisor. She said that managers are required to approve (or disapprove) all orders placed that day by day's end, and that it WOULD ship tonight for delivery Friday.

Keep calling back, you'll get through at some point I'd imagine. Though at this point I'm not so sure if calling in was really the best plan. Seems it would be less hassle if I would have waited and ordered online - at least I'd know what was going on for sure as the order doesn't appear when you search for it on my verizon.

I think free overnight is still possible when purchasing online. Verizon saves a LOT of money when people purchase online vs. over the phone, so it wouldn't make sense for them to offer an incentive to choose telesales vs the website. So i've been playing phone lottery for a while and I got turned down a few times.

Two people said that it cannot be ordered until tomorrow. One said that it's not in the system and to try again in a few weeks or months. Another said that I can pick it up in a Verizon store tomorrow.

I wonder if I can pick it up at a Verizon wireless store or affiliate like diamond wireless or Radio Shack.

for those who contacted Verizon via phone and successfully got a order, do you happen to have any direct contact information to the sales representative (email phone number/extension etc?) so the rest of us can contact them?
