Can I get a pre-paid plan with a 1520?

can i go pre-paid?

looking to get out of my att contract, and would rather pay cash for a used one, or full price than renew another limited data plan with att. I never should have gotten rid of my unlim. data.

$230 /mo is just too pricey for 3 smart phones and an ipad.

looking to get rid of the ipad, and iphone and replace them with a 1520, and put it on a pre-paid plan. Which ones can I use?

Im looking at the MetroPCS plan, $40 a month for unlimted, or $105 for 3 lines.

im sorry, im confusing pre-paid with MONTHLY... i meant monthly no contract plan, and something with unlim data (which att does not offer because they hate their customers)

I don't believe any att subsidiaries offer unlimited data. If you can unlock or buy unlocked, take it to mobile. Their 70 plan offers unlimited everything with NO throttled internet.

I bought my 1520 brand new sealed from eBay for $475. I am using H20 wireless, unlimited talk and text, 1GB data for a flat monthly fee of $40 and that include free $20 dollars for international calls.

do any of the unlock procedures work? looks like theirs some ways to unlock phones but its iffy. Perhaps i can call att and see if they can unlock it, since its on a business account, i can tell them i need to do some training outside of the country?

You can try. Maybe there's an international version rom that you can flash soon.

I am looking to do the exact same. Any luck? Which prepaid carrier did you go with? MetroPCS? I've been looking into them all just not sure what way to go.

The RM-937 (eBay, Expansys or Negri) will work on any GSM carrier, but you won't get LTE in North America. You will, however, have your pick of carriers.
