Can I use a different cable and AC adapter with the Matebook X?

I have a Matebook X.

I have this cool magnetic cable connector. However, one end is USB-A and the other is USB-C. The USB-C end is the magnetic part. The Huawei AC Adapter is a USB C adapter. Can I use a different adapter and this different cable with the Matebook X?

For example, the Note 8's QC3 charger?
