Typing https://www.bing.com in IE11 takes you to the Bing button screen. Since there isn't any address bar on the WP8.1 Bing search screen, you can't tell whether the search is being done over ssl. No url, no grey padlock. Is there a way for us to make Bing default to the ssl version for its searches? This would only secure the connection only to Microsoft's Bing server but in these security conscious days every little bit helps.

Secure Bing does generate the https web page on the browser if you set IE11 to desktop version but who uses Bing searches like that on a Windows Phone.

Funny, mine has a address bar.. And when I type that, Cortana pops up.

I get the Bing search button screen which has a search box. The bottom three on-screen buttons are Scout, Music, and Vision. No address bar.

My Cortana screen after pressing the Cortana icon doesn't have any address bar either.
