I have a Lumia 625, my wife has a 520, and at work I have an 820.
All running Windows Phone 8.
None of them can share files between them with Bluetooth.
Whenever the devices pair, the connection drops in seconds, and picture transfers just sit and wait.
I am really disappointed.
I have looked on this forum but could not find a precise thread on this issue.
Can anyone help?

The only way to secure a steady Bluetooth connection is with NFC in conjunction with Bluetooth. I share photos with my gf all the time from my 1520 to her 920. Unfortunately the 520 does NOT have NFC buddy

Thank you for your message. At least that tells me not to get my hopes up. Don't think the 625 has NFC either, as I cannot find "Tap To Send" in the "Share" option. I guess I will just have to live with my disappointment. There is a lot to like about Windows Phone, but it seems to be spoilt with silly omissions or failure to fully test. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Sure thing no problem sir. Best bet in the windows phone world is to go with the high end models

If you want to share pictures with your wife, just create a Room in the People hub with you and her. You can easily add photos in the photo section of the room.
