Can't download updates and some apps on my Lumia 950 XL

Hi,

Since two updates back (i'm not an insider) I have like 19 pending updates or downloads that can't download

I always get error code 0X80070490 (googling or bing just takes me to windows 10 answers on computer)

My storage place is internal and my os version is .164

I've already deleted the download ques several times but no luck on that.

Anybody knwos some magic trick without have to hard reset the phone?

Only thing I can suggest is if you have an SD card installed, then try using the Storage app to check where the specific apps are actually installed. Sometimes they will be on the SD card and the store tries to install the updates to the phone's storage and fails. If they are on the SD card, you can move them to the phone's storage with the Storage app and try again.

If you don't have an SD card installed, or the above fails, then uninstalling and reinstalling the apps may help. At least it isn't a full hard reset wipe of the phone.

I have no apps on the sd card, and the default save location is on the phone and not SD card. I also tried to uninstall one app in order to reinstalling it and now I cant reinstall it and can't use the app any more haha

most of the apps also seem to be built in apps, but I can't download specific windows phone 10 apps either (tried with new instagram)

Same problem on my L950, L925, L1020, L820... Windows 10... Windows 8.1

I have a problem on the listed devices!
Lumia 950 (no windows insider) 10586.164 windows 10
Lumia 1020 windows 8.1 last update
Lumia 925 windows 8.1 last update
Lumia 820 windows 8.1 last update
I've done all and the problems still exists;
-synchronized outlook (settings, email+ac... ) error 0x80070490
-soft reset error 0x80070490
-remove the battery (not on lumia 1020 and 925) error 0x80070490
-I did a hard reset, and afther all good (apps, mails...), contacts sync error 0x80070490
So, last hope is WDRT (windows device recovery tool), ok! I tried that, with all my devices, and start from beginning... region, user mail, password... on all my lumias!!! Synchrnized all... apps, mails.. but contacts still have same error code 0x80070490.

This happened last night for my on my 950XL. I just happened to open the store and noticed I had 21 app updates in the queue, all of which had "an error". I re-queued each one, one at a time, and they appeared to download and install, but when I tested individual apps the version number didn't change. So, I think it still didn't really do anything. Frustrating.
