Can't get apps or music to transfer over to the SD card

I just picked up the Lumina 640, and I am having a tough time trying to get music or my apps to install onto the SD Card. Storage Sense has SD Card set for all the options for music and apps, but when I download music through the Music store it keeps it on the phone and not the SD card. Really frustrating, anyone have this issue? I re-formatted several times and even reset the phone once.

I am using this SD Card

Can't you just move those songs to SD card using Files?

Format your card again, remove it from your phone and then put it back again. You should get the onscreen notification that you card has been inserted and recognized, also you'll get the question whether to store your data on phone or the SD card. Choose SD of course and you're all set.
In order to transfer your existing data find on your phone I recommend using the Files app except for applications, you'll have to transfer them in storage sense.
