Can't permanently set primary account switch user to a pin.

I have two accounts on my win 10 desktop. The primary account logs in automatically. When I switch users I have permanently set the secondary account sign-in option to a pin. But I can't find a way to permanently set the primary account option to a pin for switching back. Each time I boot the computer I have to reset the primary switch user option for that session.
