Can't play songs saved on SD card

hey friends, today I add an SD card to my Lumia 520, then I changed my storage place from phone to SD.then I downloaded some music and pictures, I have them in my SD card,but when I open music+videos on phone I can't find them,
Please help me.

Try doing a soft reset.

After that, I'd install the new standalone Xbox music app. Works much better, especially if you wanna make playlists.

work on mine 520 music and video app.......although I had my music already onto the sd card when I put it into my phone....

music and video app...>music===> nothing there?.....what type of SD Card do you have?....mine is a sandisk 64 gb....class 10
