Carrier Unlocking Lumia 650/Factory Reset

If I carrier unlock my Cricket Lumia 650 and then factory reset it, will it stay carrier unlocked? I'm struggling to find an answer to this

Yes, once a device is carrier unlocked it will stay unlocked. A factory reset or flashing a new firmware will not SIM/Network lock it again.

That's right. You will still have the carrier splash screen and any carrier apps will be installed anytime you reset it, even if you use a backup where those apps were uninstalled. To check your unlock status you can enter ##7820 # in the phone. If the padlock that appears is locked, you phone is locked, if it is unlocked, it is unlocked.
