Casting to MS Wireless Display Adapter using tablet

Hi everyone

I bought the MS Wireless Display Adapter and it's working great for mirroring my screen, but now I would like to use the expanded desktop function. My question is: how do I play a YouTube video full screen on my TV while I work on my tablet?

It seems like an easy thing to do, but without a mouse, I have no idea if that's even possible?
An alternative (which would be a cool feature) is to project a certain virtual desktop (W10) to your device and switch to another to continue working.

Can anyone help?

I think I'll use a virtual trackpad for a while: TouchMousePointer gives you a virtual trackpad for your Windows tablet | Windows Central
But if someone has a better solution, please reply
