Cause of blurring during daytime shots?

I have noticed then when I take a daytime shot with tap-to-screen, it will focus and the picture will be tack-sharp on the screen right before the shutter goes off. But then when it takes the picture, the picture is soft just like everyone complains about in their reviews. It happens even if I am resting the phone on something to eliminate camera shake. Has anyone noticed this? It definitely seems like Nokia can fix this with a software update as it's either a focus issue when taking the picture or maybe an issue with the image stabilization system.
