Let's not forget George Michael either. 2016 has been rough, I would not have minded one bit if we called it quits after Muhammad Ali.

I remain in shock by the 2016 losses...

2016 might seem like an exceptionally crazy year for celebrity deaths, but it's probably more like a new normal. For a variety of reasons, population growth and the advent of new forms of mass media in the last half century among them, we have way more famous people. We also have a very popular baby boomer generation. And as a result, we have more famous people approaching the end of their lives than at any point in history.

Please dear lord let 2016 end...

Out of all the deaths this year on the celebrity side, this one hit me the most. I was 7 when the first star wars came out and she is still an icon to me and to many others.

Very sad, RIP Carrie Fisher and may the Force be with her.

This year does need to end...
