Loved him as Benson but his movie roles were memorable as well. “Stand By Me” and “Wanted: Dead or Alive” were great vehicles for his dry wit.

I had no idea he had suffered from dementia. That's too bad. Many Friday nights were spent back in high school drinking a few beers and listening to Thunderstruck, Hells Bells, and many others.

I grew up listening to them in the 70s, when the RAAF had a radio station (RRB) in Butterworth, Malaysia.

Then it was in July 1980, I managed to catch them in Kitchener, Ontario on their NA tour. Bon Scott had died, they had an album out (Back In Black) and a new singer.
Quite a gig, and loud. . and that bell..... Malcolm laid down immaculate precision tooled riff after riff after riff..
