Dang... Mac was a legend and a classy guy. I grew up watching him on TV and hearing his music everywhere along with Helen Reddy. This stuff just makes you feel older and older. :(


Edit: Here is a really cool article comparing the careers of Mac Davis and Helen Reddy. Both died the same day and the the careers not only overlapped each other, but were uncannily similar. Really interesting read for those interested.

Docudramas include The Curse of Oak Island and Kendra and more died Sunday of cardiac arrest at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 65.

Just heard the news, and this hits really hard. So young, and still so full of talent. One of the main reasons I picked up the guitar 35 plus years ago.
