I want to change my lock screen timeout to never.

The only options I get are up to five minutes and down to thirty seconds. Setting up my phone for the first time, I'm trying to download a lot of music in Groove. This'll take all night, so I wanted to leave it plugged in, unlocked and downloading.

I did this on my L930 with Win10 on it... But the XL is now showing "Never"

Anyway to turn off the lockscreen timeout, so I can let Groove do a lot of music downloads?

Have you tried groove background app settings and enabling wi-fi to remain active when plugged in, should work while the screen is off then. However not got my 950xl or running windows 10 yet so its a bit of a guess

They have probably blocked this setting because it's got an AMOLED screen. It was blocked on my old Omnia7 with WP7 as well (which also had AMOLED). It works on my WP8 830 (with LCD screen)

I don't seem to have that option, to operate in background while on power. In Groove, this is all I get under settings (And under background apps, Groove is set On).

Reached out to Gabe Aul on Twitter and got a response from Jason, a PM on the Windows Insider team. Appears to be a bug. I supplied screenshots of the lock screen issue and About screen. They are looking into it is what I was told.
