Changing text ringtone

I looked through and couldn't find a thread for this here's my question, I found an article here Create Ringtones | Audio Files | Zune Software | Windows Phone 7 on how to make a ringtone for calls, but I can't find how to change the tone for text messages or voicemails. Any ideas?

For texts and other alerts you can only choose from the stock sounds. Custom tones are only available for voice calls.

That will change with the Apollo update this coming fall.
