charging lead fort different countries

Hello ... I recently bought a surface 3 in UK:smile: and now need to be able to charge the battery while in france ... I had assumed that a standard UK / French mains electric adapter could be used but see on the instructions that might cause problems have tried google to see if i can find french battery charging lead for surface 3 but no luck ... any advice suggestions info would be most appreciated ... thanks ...

Many people (including me) use aftermarket USB chargers to charge their Surface 3s. Can you quote the text that makes you think you'll have problems in France?

Any universal input USB charging brick that can output 2.4A will work to charging your Surface 3. As mentioned above, I wouldn't trust the MS charging brick to always work. Get an aftermarket one.
