Clacking / rattling sound when shaking the 8x

My 8x has this annoying sound too. If you shake your 8x near your ear, the sound comes from the camera area.

correct, it must be the camera.

I have it too ;$ also my lens on the camera is slightly to the left lol

Hej,

I got a new 8x yesterday.Something I noticed today was that it makes a clacking sound when I shake it. Its definetly not coming from the buttons-more from the lensarea. Has anybody noticed the same, is it normal? Also it seems sometimes that the HTC 8x has problems with the autofocus on macroshots. Means,it does not find the right fokus. Anybody with the same problem?

Honestly I don't know. For me its ok now that I know I am not the only one with that phenomenon so most likely there is nothing wrong with my phone.

Yes it is the orientation sensor. I have an arduino to play with and that sensor makes the same clicking sound as the HTC.

With my experience it is the volume button that is producing sound when you shake your phone
I dont beleive that its a lens or orientation sensor sound !!!!
