Cleaning apps?

I have come from the iPhone and am wondering if these Windows phones benefit from using cleaning apps. Like that clean up the phone and free up space? If so can anyone suggest some good ones? This 8x is my first Windows phones and I'm loving it! Before that I was on iPhone and a couple androids. I def want to be sure I'm keeping my phone storage as cleaned as possible and keep the phone running smooth.

No, Windows Phone doesn't really benefit from these sorts of apps.
