Cleaning the Rubber Straps

I was wondering how you cleaned the straps on your band. I was thinking of trying out some rubber cleaner that helps moisturize the rubber to prevent the rubber from splitting, since splitting is such a common problem. Thanks for your help!

I think I'd stick to just water. Pretty much anything else you could name could damage the band - depending on what it's made out of. Since we don't know, water is the safest choice.

I use zeis lens cleaner and a micro fiber cloth after every workout (daily) to clean my band. Got mine on the first day and it still looked like new up until I had it replaced last week due to it not measuring heart rate occasionally.

Re: Cleaning the Rubber Straps

I use a clean towel, dampen it with plain water out of the tap and just use that.

If I've been wearing it all day and sweating just water on it's own removes any sort of odour successfully.

I just run it under a tap and use some liquid soap. Seems OK so far. It's got a decent IP rating so bit of water is fine.
