Closet Cortana User

While I love the idea of Cortana and use it all the time. I can't get my head around using it in public places. I don't know if its an English thing but I can't bring myself to say "Hey Cortana where's my nearest Starbucks" in the middle of the street.

You're not alone, I rarely hear anyone use OK Google outside of demo's.
(doesn't Siri have a similar thing?)

Although sometimes walking dome the hall I hit the headset button and tell her to take a note.

Cortana is too many syllables. I hold the search button if I'm going to talk. If my device could utilize Hey Cortana, hands free, I'd use that feature. I've always felt weird talking to a phone without a person on the other end but that can change if doing so can make life more efficient. Still waiting for the next 920 upgrade in 5"ish size, then it's Hey babe, I mean Cortana.
