Code 8 Error HTC Touch Pro 2 (VZW)

I have a friend who has a touch pro 2 from Verizon (it's a company phone) and from time to time, even when the phone is sitting idle on her desk, the phone will beep and she will look over and it will say "Code 8 Error" or something to that effect. She did a battery pull for only a few seconds and that didn't help so I had her pull the battery out completely and put it back in after a min or two. I don't know what the result of that will be because she just did that. It started about a week and a half ago and she hasn't added any apps or e-mail addresses during that time period. Any help?? Thanks!

Next time this happens could you get her to wright down exactly what it says on the screen
