Confirmed Verizon 2520 works with keyboard

Theres about 5 keyboard threads so what's one more. Just wanted to let anyone know that's curious that I can confirm the Verizon 2520 works perfectly with the Nokia Powered keyboard.

There's a rumor going around that an update is needed for the keyboard to work, while there may be some firmware needed to utilize everything the keyboard can do, I can confirm everything that I've tried so far is working perfectly. The battery, the usbs, the keyboard, mouse, trackpad, etc, everything works, look at pictures.

For anyone waiting on this, it is very nice, has a nice soft touch to it, very nice addition to our already awesome tablet. If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to answer them.

Yes I called ATT yesterday, they told me they would no longer carry it in the store and that it be a order only in black. I called cause for what they r going for on eBay I was gonna buy it and sell it for slightly a little more just for quick cash. It's crazy what people are buying them for. She did tell me I could come in and they would place the order.

Yes... I can also confirm that it works with the Verizon variant. My wife has a red 2520 and me a black AT&T and it works fine on both.

Idk, I'm guessing cause of the emails people were receiving that they wouldn't get theirs until the end of February. Also someone was saying that they even called Nokia and they were saying it so idk if this was a excuse Nokia was using or what so they didn't have to explain why ATT versions got theirs first. No idea tho.

Yes it works great with the Verizon 2520. I wasn't planning on getting one, but ordered from the Microsoft Store and it came today. I must say that I really like it even though it makes the tablet a little thick and heavy. They did make it pretty easy to insert and remove which helps a lot.

I am about to order one from AT&T, but have a Verizon 2520.

No idea why Verizon has delayed them. If I were to guess it is a supply chain issue on the Nokia side more than anything with the tablet or keyboard.

I used it most of the evening and it worked perfectly. I suppose there could be a bug somewhere that I haven't run into, but so far so good.

I had a couple issues with touch freaking out on me today. I had to reboot my tablet to make it go away. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the keyboard but it is working perfectly again now.

I am having brightness and charging issues using the Power Keyboard with a Verizon 2520, and I confirmed with Nokia that you must have the firmware update released on 1/21/14 in order to have it work correctly. I have not had a chance to test this yet, but hopefully it solves the issues.

I have spoken on the phone to Matt Rothchild.
1. The keyboards WILL work with the Verizon 2520’s

2. There is currently a bug where sometimes (he estimates one out of three times) where on waking from sleep, the keyboard does not work. The fix is to restart the 2520

Edit 2/27/14: I now have a keyboard, thanks to the local Nokia rep.



The rep told me that it was Verizon who did not/does not want to release the keyboards as they do not want to do technical support on the known issue that will be fixed with the coming firmware update.
