Confused about Xbox app (Xbox app VS Xbox games app)

I decided to dual boot windows 10 with my 8.1, successfully did it!
while discovering the new windows I found that the Xbox games app is there along side the new xbox app, my question is: Is the old app useless now? or it has some features the new one doesn't?
