I recently upgraded to the 950xl, so I am still feeling my way around the mobile OS. Previously in 8.1, Cortana had a feature to listen and identify music for you....this seems to be missing in Windows 10 mobile. It looks to be like now you have to download Shazam now?

Thanks in advance!

I love the new OS and hope they bring out new features soon!

It is still there, there are four ways to get to it:
  • Tap the Search button, type "What am I listening to?" and click search.
  • Hold the Search button, to start Cortana listening, and say "What am I listening to?"
  • Hold the Search button, to start Cortana listening, then tap the musical note in the upper right corner.
  • If you have a Band 2, hold the action button and say "What am I listening to?" (Note it still uses the mic in the phone to listen to the music.)

Do we need to turn Cortana on to search music in W10M? Prev in 8.1, we don't need cortana to be on but just data/wifi on, tap the search button and then the musical note, and that's it.
