It hasn't been rolled out to every single user yet - some may get it, some wont. It's just hit and miss until the official release day. They already tried a full roll-out but had to roll it back because of various issues, hence why only a handful of people are seeing an update.

Yeah. I disable everyday and try to see if update.
Yesterday I did even a reset of her.
And today doing nothing updated. LOL

Please guys STOP doing any roll back, hard reseting or things like that to get the cortana update. This is totally useless because the update is server side. No code is changed on you phone. If anyone says that he got the update after doing such things this was only luck in my opinion because the maybe got luckily to another server with their next cortana request.

That's not completely true. Talderon said there are SOME handheld components. While Cortana is MOSTLY server based, there are still some handheld based components.

Still not seeing weather on live tile

no quiz yet for me. also not sure I will ever know if weather icon is working as it is always HOT and Sunny in Arizona.

I just received the update by doing this:

1. Uninstall Bing finance
2. Wait a couple of minutes
3. Install it back and open the app
4. Do some changes on your finance watch list
5. Cortana should shows all the watch list you set
6. After a couple of minutes I got full the update!


Here's another thing I just found out.

Finance isn't the only app that directly connected to Cortana (watch list), but sports as well! All my football teams are now shown on Cortana as well without doing something. Not sure does this apply to Travel and Food&Drinks.

Thank you so much! Installed Bing finance and got the full Cortana update within a minute... Uninstalled finance and I'm good to go.

It's not a coincidence. There is something that is hanging up for some but not for others. Coincidence would be HUGE if it updated right at the very moment that we uninstall/reinstall/update something in the Finance app. That would be a HUGE coincidence. My guess is something in our Microsoft accounts that gets prodded when we make changes to the Finance app, and probably other apps/settings, too.

Coincidence would be HUGE if it updated right at the very moment that we uninstall/reinstall/update something in the Finance app. That would be a HUGE coincidence.
