If Denim didn't fully fix the 1020 how is Windows 10 going to work with it? Still no gyroscope. Please someone help me understand this? I love my live tiles but if I had a upgrade today that wouldn't cause me to lose my unlimited data I would be gone and a Note 4 user. To see more and more of the more phones with smaller screens is wrong. Maybe it means they are getting it right instead of my phone being only a year old and not getting all the updates. My office is still running Win 7, we can only use IE 9. We are all supposed to get new laptops instead of new hard drives and they are in the hallway on the 2 pallets still covered in plastic.

Ahem.. The 1020 does get all the updates. There's a noticeable difference between not getting an update and not having the hardware to make use of all new features of a certain update.
Are you sure the 1020 doesn't have a Gyroscope? If that's true, I never even noticed that while I was using it. Which was for a time of approximately one year.

Still scratching my head over this logic, no new WP flagship device so people move to android? Is it just the knowledge that you're running a fission reactor that's the attraction or something else? After it still doesn't solve the issue of no flagship WP, does it?

And PS, IE 11 runs on Win7, so no excuse to be running IE 9.

A flagship matters in North America but that market is almost saturated and is highly competitive. The strategy of using low end phones for market share in the rest of the world is a logical approach.

I would not rule out (West) Europe where flagships matter but for the rest I agree.
There was last a article that well over 70% of the apps where downloaded on "low" end phones.
And to become a real player in the future you have to get people to use windows phones so "flooding" the market with low end phones makes sense.
And if they like it they will buy next time a middle or high end phone.

We can't install programs on the computers because the Army tests everything and does all the installs remotely. You don't seem to understand what my question says. If we don't have the full install of Denim on the 1020 and the camera is starting slow how will Windows fix the problem. The other part is the phone isn't even 2 years old. My decision to go to Android is not set in stone, the iPhone 6 plus is very much a possibility

When you have a vision the low end phone won't cut it. I need a larger screen so my vision isn't strained.
