Cricket Wireless - No Internet Sharing

I just picked up a Lumia 630 on Cricket Wireless and I was disappointed to discover that Internet Sharing isn't there. It doesn't even appear as an option under Settings. I chatted with Cricket support and was told "we don't support that".

Is this something Cricket in fact locks or is this a limitation of the 630? Any workarounds?

Also, I was considering brining an ATT phone to Cricket. Would that be unable to use internet sharing as well?

Make sense to me that a budget carrier wouldn't support that. Also a good reason to get to you to ATT directly to pay more $$$. The ladder is a question for Cricket.

Edit: I think MS is selling unlocked 635's. Maybe one those would work.

Good thing they are just month to month, since this may be a deal breaker for me.

Well it does work by the foreign SIM hack on my Lumia 920 from Rogers running Cyan. But it does not work on my 830, 925 and Cricket 630. On the 925 I do have the option enabled but internet sharing errors out. On the 830 and 630, the option is completely gone
