Custom ringtones seems broken on 10536.

Custom ringtones work if you use the desktop phone app to sync .m4a's that have genre set to ringtone.. mine is working under 10536.

You're a lifesaver!! I got it working with that method too!!!

converting to m4r files and placing them in the ringtones folder works for me.

Thanks, MetalHD and pjrudd. Just setting the genre as ringtone didn't worked for me, but changing the genre to ringtone and the file extension to .m4r did the trick. Now I finally can have my Law & Order's 'dong' as message tone again lol.
