Customized Ringtones for Contacts

Anybody noticed that selecting different ringtones for different contacts in the people app is now possible? Before, it would just point you to the store. They must have updated something without us knowing.

Running 10512 on AT&T Lumia 920.

Wasn't this feature always enabled? I know I saw it briefly in older builds as well, though I don't remember which one had it first.

It had it on older builds but you couldn't select any ringtone.

Is the feature really working now ? Cuz that's one of the main "game-stopper" that makes me stay on 8.1. I've been carrying a few ringtones for my family&gf and I just can't live without anymore.

Yes, you can set a custom ringtone and/or texttone for individual contacts.

Just tested it, it actually works ; )

Well doesn't seem to work on my 830 - build 10512. Still getting the "Look for an app in the store ?" box. I guess if it's working for some it's only a matter of time until that bug is solved

It used to not work for me, now it does. Hopefully, the next build will fix for everybody. It should come around next week.

It works. However, I still can't use my own ringtones. Mp3 format in ringtone folder but, none are showing up on the list.
