Damaged Screen Pixels

So this happened. Not sure how. I can press hard on the screen and the whole screen becomes distorted and have to keep pressing various spots to get it readable, Also looks like a curved crack in the upper right in which the lines of visible pixels end when they reach the "crack". But no physical feel of a crack is there.Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures (taken with my surface) Any ideas? I had brought it to a friend of a friends local independent phone repair shop, it says it pretty bad

Looks like the display is damaged!! Better do a hard reset and see the problem is repaired. If not , problem must be with the Display, better get to a Nearby Store.

The pixels are dead indeed. You need to get the screen replaced.

yes, other dealers might hand you over some cheap display so its better you go for original.

I picked up a Lg G2 for now. But what if I get a screen\ digitizer from eBay or Amazon? They have them with tools and instructions

That totally depends on your skills. I'm not sure about the quality of the product you may get from ebay or amazon because it depends on seller itsef on ebay. Well You can try if you are confident enough. Who knows maybe its your lucky day?
