Data speed 900 v 920

So the first night I had my 920, I was surfing the web only to realize it was on data and not my WiFi. With the 900, cell data seemed slow in my apartment. With the 920, I can't tell the difference. Is there something inherently better about the 920's cell radio or does it render websites that much faster that the internet just feels faster?

IE10 is very fast compared to the one on WP7 phones. The dual core cpu is a factor too.
