Dead Lumia

Hi guys


I have an international Lumia 920 (Used in South Africa)
Please assist, i tried to update my device from PC to GDR2.

During the update process, my PC said update failed. The Device screen went Red, with Windows Logo.
It asked me to recover aswell, but it failed. I plugged my device out, and it went dead.

Now it is dead, it doesnt start, the PC does not pick it up?

I saw a few different options to fix it, but now sure how to go?

Can anyone please direct me?

Press on the volume down button and the power button simultaneously. Do it for approximately 10 seconds and your phone should come back on.

Yikes.

I'm no expert on such things but not sure if you will be able to fix. You can try flashing it again to see if completes. Your carrier may also be able to help. Otherwise your probable looking at a billable reload by Nokia. They may have some sympathy for ya but I wouldn't count on it.

No go. Nothing works, im trying to restore it via the Nokia Care Suite. Lets see how it goes...

anything new? I'm having the same issue on an 820.. in the process it now asks me to hold volume down and power till it vibrates, but it doesn't.. I guess I'll have to send it in now
