Decent Twitter app

Has anyone used a twitter app on win phone 8 that updates automatically in the background? The official one doesn't. I would like it to pick up my twitter feed every x hours.

try Peregrine? you get tweets from background. once you unlock the screen, you see the counter on the live tile shoot up to the number of unread tweets. maybe that's what you're looking for?
