Delayed notifications?

Anyone else having or had this issue? Push notifications such as WhatsApp, FB and E-Mail etc all arrive 5-20 minutes late when on a cellular data connection for me. They work fine on WiFi and arrive instantly.

My Lumia 1020 had no issues before my 950. I have strong signal and it happens in multiple areas...

To rule out network... What country and network provider are you with?

I had the same problem with my 640 xl. After some research and lots of testing with different phones and sim cards imo the problem is in my Lumia and the 3g network. When the signal was weak or lost, my phone had hard times connecting again and receiving messages and loading pages.
When the same sim card was put in Android phone there was hic ups for some seconds, but then the programs received/sent their messages and browser pages loaded on their own. When in my 640 xl I had to manually reload pages, close open chats to be able to receive those messages.
Sim cards from other operators worked better, probably because of better network.
I almost changed my operator, because of this but testing with android fixed the problem for me.
I sold my 640 xl, bough Asus Selfie and almost no problems so far. Waited for 4 months MS to fix the problems I had with my Lumia, wished Win 10 to be a changer, but I am not a patient man and got back to Android, what a pleasant come back...

I'm in UK on EE.

Same here... EE UK. My sister has a L950 on EE and has had similar issues although not as bad. Difference being she's in a different part of the country.

Interestingly my GF has a 930 on WP8.1 also on EE and that's started playing up now too.

As playmobg above I suspect something between the EE network and WM10 isn't happy. Like I say my L1020 was fine before I upgraded in the same area and same network.

When I go to work in a full signal 4G area it works a but better but still not right. Very frustrating.

Thomas, was yours ok before the WM10 install on WP8?

Its going to be incredibly annoying if there is some kind of incompatibility between WM10 and EE...

Has anyone else had this happen at all?

same here
im from the Netherlands lumia 650 wp 10 on Vodafone but for me it makes no differance if im on the wifi or celluar
the noticfications are 10 to 20 min to late

Just thought I'd update on this;

Still having the issue despite numerous OS updates. I've now forgotten what it's like to reliably receive notifications...

interested if anyone else has had this bug since I originally posted?

I'm on AT&T in the U.S. and I regularly experience delayed notifications. It seems that everytime I restart the device a flurry of notifications come pouring in, some for things I've already gotten, others for texts, WhatsApp messages and the like that I haven't seen before. The kicker is when missed calls and voicemails pop up... important stuff. I simply can no longer trust this device; it's to the point where I just want it to spontaneously combust; Galaxy Note 7 users are lucky in that regard... :angel:
