Dell Venue 11 Pro Slim Keyboard Double Type Issues

I am using the slim keyboard (the one without the built in battery with my Dell Venue 11 Pro).

I have been having some double type issues. While Windows' "filter keys" have eliminated all of the double type issues I have been having with letters, I still get double space bar; and filter key does not seem to fix this issue.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Without the double typing letters, the keyboard is actually pretty decent, but the double type issue is making this keyboard nearly unusable.

I purposely did not edit this post to show you the double typing space bar.

go into control panel and slow down the hold and repeat rate under keyboard
