Dell venue 8 pro vs samsung

Hi, im new to wpcentral. Just got a 520 and so much better than IOS XD

Anyways, I went to Costco and I guess their tablet selection is few with Samsung tabs and the windows tablet all featured at the end... The dell venue 8 pro is at $329 64gb and folio case but the Samsung tab 10 inch is $100 off at like $279. My family likes bigger screens so which one is the better tablet with most bang for your buck given only used for watching videos and surfing on the web. thanks

the dell can not only web surf and watch videos but can also run Microsoft office (included, extra value!) and everything that you can normally run on a windows desktop PC (light softwares. not games or editing programs)

personally, I think the dell is much better than other tablets because it uses Intel processor and runs a full desktop operating system compared to dumbed down mobile operating systems like android and ios

If all you're doing is watching Netflix with some web surfing, then the Samsung isn't bad.

With the Dell you get a lot more for your money. You also have the option of running a webpage in Desktop mode in case you get to a page that isn't made to be tablet friendly. You basically have a full computer AND a tablet with the Dell.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a better processor than the Samsung Galaxy 3 10.1". The Samsung Galaxy 3 10.1" might be a laggy device with the outdated processor. The high end Samsung Android tablets are the Galaxy Note line. This particular Samsung tablet is an entry level tablet, not a high end tablet.

Do not get the 10.1 in samsung tab 3. I have one and due to it using x86 and not ARM it makes life difficult. Also it's only got 1GB of ram.
