Denim Update GDR2 - Lumia 920

Hey all,
I've been trying to get the Denim GDR2 update on my lumia. Any advice?

About the only success I've read about it to join the Windows insider for Windows 10 and SOME people were able to update first to Denim update 2 but most people simply got pushed to Windows 10.

I don't want to brick my phone so I'm wondering if there's a safe way to get the 920 to Denim update 2?

Don't bother at this time.

Just wait for 10, that supersedes 8.1 Update 2.

Lumia Denim corresponds with Update 1, not 2 by the way.

No, it will be receiving Windows 10.

With some caveats. If its tied to a carrier like the AT&T model, AT&T will most likely block the update, requiring use of the Insider program. (which may not be that bad anyway)

Otherwise, it may not be the first to receive the public release of 10, which will be for newer phones, but it will receive it nonetheless.

Good to know. Mine is an AT&T model. Unlocked. I'm going to sign up for the insider program. Is it still open to signing up?
