I just got a N1520 last week, but it will not load up desktop version on IE on many sites even thought I have it set in the settings to do so.

What I do not understand is my N920 with a smaller display, and not really the hardware or storage of the N1520 always loads the desktop version every time.

Is there something in settings I'm overlooking which would force desktop version all the time like my N920 does? I already have N1520 set to use desktop version.

I used to see this from time to time. You may have to delete history (cookies) after switching to desktop mode, then try forcing the app to close. I have Bing pinned to my start screen and it always opens in the desktop mode.

I done that twice and it still goes to mobile version and even done soft restart both times.

And to make it worse, UC Browser loads up desktop version flawlessly every time. But the IE Browser loads the desktop version as well every time.

Just installed Surfy Browser, it loads up desktop version too, but IE still loads up yucky mobile version,. And I have deleted cookies, history and temp files twice and done soft reset twice this evening, still loads up mobile version instead of desktop.

Some of the sites themselves force mobile mode, like Facebook, twitter and a few others. Facebook is the only one I couldn't find a way to turn on desktop mode for but the others have a choice at the bottom of the page.
