Developer Build-difference between European and the Newest

If anyone could help answer a couple of questions, it would be great. I had a bricked Developers Build that was fixed by flashing FW from Rogers. I ended up with the European developers FW. Now that there's a newer build out for my original FW my question is this, "Do I really need it?" Will the European work with T Mobile LTE when it is activated in my area? I'm sorry but I'm confused about the difference between the two.
