Funny thing is. That I can download other apps. But not OneDrive and XBox Video with code 80073cf6
Reading mode in IE just shows a blank screen on my HTC 8S. I've noticed that quite a few people have this problem too.

Push notifications and some live tiles are completely busted on my Verizon HTC 8X...I have soft reset multiple times, tried turning individual apps notifications on and off, turning them on and off in the Battery Saver, etc. Issue happens for me on both Wi-Fi and cellular data...there is no difference. Finally, last night, I did a hard reset and wiped the phone clean and started over. (Good news is that the WP8.1 restore system is EVEN BETTER than WP8 in my opinion, and that one was already pretty good.)
So even after the hard reset and all other suggestions I've seen in other threads, notifications just plain don't work for me. Could be the phone, could be the signal strength (doubt it though since it's a low LTE signal, but I still have 4.0Mbps in my office on LTE with 2 bars), could be Verizon...just don't know. Strange thing is I even have e-mail sync set to check every 30 minutes, and it will go for hours with no update!! But when I force a sync, tons of e-mail will come through which should have been pushed. Before the hard reset I was at least getting Twitter notifications for those I've turned on to notify me through the official Twitter app. After the hard reset, I don't even get those now.
My last ditch hope is to wait for the official version (YES, I KNOW THIS IS A PREVIEW AND A DEVELOPER VERSION) and/or further updates to the OS as part of the preview. In the meantime, the only other thing I can think to try is to change my date/time from automatic to manual, just in case that might make a difference. I may try turning off Data Sense too, to see if there is a bug there..one thing at a time though

I have Lumia 720 and after upgrading to 8.1 every map application couldn't detect my location. In the settings, location is ON. But for instance Here Maps shows my position in 40 km away of where I am actually. This has never happened with this phone on winphone8.
Swipe down from the top, when you bring down the notification center it also brings down the % remaining for battery.
I had that problem too. I had to let the phone completely discharge to 0%, then do a full charge to max.

First, let me start off by saying I love the 8.1 update and all the features it brings. I honestly believe I wouldn't want to go back to 8.0 with the lack of 3 columns and no action / notification center.
However, I've noticed (twice now) that my L920 loses its ability to hold on to LTE and cycles back down to 4G - and even that jumps around between 2 and four bars. To remedy the situation I power off the phone and then turn it back on - whala, fixed and has LTE 4 or 5 bars as usual.
I seem to remember seeing a thread discussing this but can't find it now. Anyone else experiencing this?

The only issue I've had so far, is that every now and then when I go ahead and pick up my phone, the screen is already on (lock screen). I have decided a couple of times to wait and see what happens, but it just remains on and doesn't even dim. The other night it was on all night long. Not sure what the deal is with this...

Has anybody noticed if the other storage issue has been fixed when updating to 8.1 ? Some are saying that it got erased but just want to reconfirm with you guys who updated to 8.1. I am currently facing big problems as my other storage is clogged up to 3GB on my Lumia 720 with 0bytes left of free space and i cannot update

Glance background isn't working on my 810. Or is this an issue in all 810s? I have the clock showing with no problem, but when I installed Glance Background this morning via Lumia Pusher and selected the tiger image, it didn't show and only showed the clock.

Abnormal Battery Saver usage bar glitch.
After scrolling down and back up..
Battery usage is normal however.
I have tried phone reboot, soft reset and hard reset* I cant seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions?
*After installing the dev preview i saw this glitch, went ahead with a full hard reset for a fresh start. But glitch is back again.

I think I found a bug with Wi-Fi on WP8.1 Developer Preview that may be helping to drain battery more quickly. When there are several Access Points with the same name (and same network), the phone does not switch automatically to the AP with best signal strength. It keeps connected to the first AP found, and the only way to make it switch to the AP with better signal is manually disconnecting and reconnecting. For me, this happens both at home and at work (Lumia 1020).

Glance may require a firmware update that is included in the Nokia updates which your phone is not getting- may be why it is not working.

Not fixed unfortunately...This appears to be the case when you use best quality auto upload under wifi only. When you do it only uploads a duplicate picture of the original and not the reframed picture. This is NOT the case when "good" quality upload over any connection is checked in settings under photos...under that setting the reframed picture is uploaded. Anyone else experience and able to replicate. Frustrating because with 8.1 there is no ability to manually upload a picture to OneDrive to get it off the phone and onto my PC.

I could be getting some of my features mixed up, but I have a vague memory that glance needed a soft reset (aka, power, then slide to power off) to work.

This is the second day that my L1020 have a reboot when using the 8.1 Xbox music app.
I listen to music everyday in the way to school on the bus and is a 30 minutes run more or less and yesterday and today i got a reboot in this time.
I was not using any other app, the phone was locked in the two cases and don't have this reboots in another time in fact, this are my two firsts reboots with my new phone.
I start to use it exactly a week ago when it arrives remplacing my L720. In Wikipedia says that the L1020 reports random reboots and my question is this reboots are normal or the new xbox music app cause them?. anyone experience something similar? Thanks.
