As well as many of the bugs you have found I have noticed that if I am watching video, from YouTube or elsewhere with the app and ringer volumes muted, and use the fast forward button, the speaker emits a popping sound. The sound is slightly different each time too. Very odd.

I'm on a Lumia 920.

Yep. It even happens if you have the volume muted.

Hi guys!!! First time to post here. Ever since i updated to the dev preview 8.1 for my L 920 i noticed that my previous entries to my calendar prior to the update were gone. I synched my Microsoft account and still the previous entries are nowhere to be found. These entries are still shown in my outlook.com calendar and can be seen in my pc and my win 8.1 tablet but not on my lumia 920 with 8.1. Would you pls help me since i needed to go back to my previous entries since i monitor my patients treatment progress. Thanks in advance.

I've have recently updated my lumia 625 to 8.1, the issue is that I can't find the "Keep wifi on after screenlock gets activated" option.
I've seen a video on youtube showing the feature in wifi settings > manage. But I can't find it on my phone.
Can someone help me out? Thank you.

Enabling all the options in WiFi sense and on the manage page, forces the WiFi connection to keep alive

Also make sure Cortana is working (region set to USA) and let her manage the WiFi for better control..

Am facing a new problem, moved my here maps to SD card, again moved it back to my phone memory, phone hanged and was restarted by reinserting the battery, now here maps does not show in all apps list, the tile is greyed out, Cortana hangs up the phone when I search for here maps with it.. Now if I go to the store to re download the app, the store shows here maps as installed, so now i have here maps on my phone that i cannot delete or access, nor i can reinstall or move it... Seriously nokia apps don't support WP8.1 features..

Am not being able to receive push notifications from WhatsApp from past 3 days. Reinstalling WhatsApp, i get push notifications for a while but then again they switch off. My other WP 8 device which i dint opt for the preview gets WhatsApp push notifications... So i think its because of the preview that WhatsApp notifications are not being dealt properly....

i think notifications in general may be having an issue. i ran into a problem with my metromail not pulling mail as it came in. i had to go in and manually refresh to get the mail. but now since my live tiles arent updating a soft reboot about once a day seems to fix it temporarily. im assuming once 8.1 is officially released and we get the new update from nokia it should correct itself

I don't have that option in my Lumia 920 either, my dads HTC 8x does have the option tho.

Hi guys I probably found a problem related with the battery drain, just after having unplugged it from the charger ( so 100% battery level ) I've changed the language and restarted the phone, the battery level is now to 48% after ~10 minutes after having unplugged it, with everything turned off and low luminosity.
Probably is a problem with the charging method itself, in fact ( especially in my phone, a Lumia 820* ) after having rebooted the phone the battery level is more accurate as is recalculated after alot of time.
Probably there's a bug in the battery estimation method so it stops charging not at the real 100% but alot lower, virtually discharging faster.
It can be also a problem related only to my device.
Tell me what do you think.

* if you don't know it the L820 way to calculate the battery level is to me alot so stupid, as it doesn't check directly the battery level, it does calculations based on how you are using your phone, and after a fixed period it checks the real battery level, so after the reboot is displayed the real battery level, as I don't think I used 53% of the battery in less than one minute.

This is regarding Nokia Treasure Tag app on Lumia 620 WP8.1

Though Treasure Tags are not available as yet, the app faces a start up problem after WP 8.1 DP update. If app is started it gives a compatibility error (see below image) Checking app update gives no update.



However, if at the above error windows key is pressed, app sent to background and called back again it starts and searches for any tag connectivity.

Notifications in the Facebook is unable to load. Using other apps like JDB Facebook and Booklet notifications can be seen. But the official Facebook app is unable to show the notifications.

The about section in settings auto rotates even if screen rotation is turned off!!!!!

My 3g does not work anymore since I got the 8.1 update. Tried switching my 925 off and on, soft reset and also a hard reset. WiFi is off. I am so frustrated, can anyone advise me on how to sort this
