nope. mine is working fine. i am using 720. in my case, for medium tile, that envelope grows bigger. for the large tile, it goes smaller again in the corner in case of unread mails, and its bigger at center if no unread mails. it works fine.
try to removing the tile and pinning it again.

I already tried that. Tbh I have an Exchange account also on my phone and the live tile for that is working fine. And Gmail's live tive is not working for my other Gmail account, so, I guess I'm the only one with this problem then.

I had a problem with the wp8 and wp8.1: When I inserts an image to some of my contacts, the resolution of the image is changed and is extremely blurred. I think because the phone sync to google account and sync my contacts and they profile image. How can I fix it????????? Thanks!

And this is what I was looking at just before the phone completely froze. Managed to snag a picture just before it shut off...for good it appears. This is what I was describing in my post above....number 3.

When you installed 8.1 did you do a hard reset and set the phone up as new? A lot of problems arise from people installing 8.1 on top of their old 8.0 settings or people doing a hard reset and then restoring their phones from a back up that was made in 8.0

Try holding your volume up and power button until you feel a vibration happen, it may take several seconds to vibrate but just keep holding the buttons. If that doesn't help then install Nokia software updater on your computer and use that to restore your phone but that will restore it to 8.0

So many sites don't work in IE11. Citi, match.com, many others. Here's a simple one: Aftonbladet: Sveriges nyhetsk?lla och m?tesplats

Click on any article, and it will not open (works fine in IE10 in WP8). You CAN make it open if you hold down on an article and select "open in new tab" every time, but clearly this is a bug.

Which sites have become non-functioning for others, or require workarounds? This will be a big problem if nothing is done.

Why are you hitting the windows button and swiping the lock screen up at the same time?

Why are you hitting the back button and the screen at or very close to the same time?

I could fling my phone at the wall and then say the screen has a problem because it smashed. Or am I missing something?

Hi, I'm having an issue with my Lumia 920 earphone/headset..

When I plug my headphones, there's no sound coming from the right earphone. When I pull the jack, the sound comes from both sides.

The problem doesn't go away until I reboot the phone.

Any ideas ?

Interesting. I didn't do a hard reset at all after installing 8.1. However, I only set my phone up using a saved configuration the first time I updated. The other two installs were set up as clean installs. I guess it has something to do with hard resetting the phone in my situation. Last night the phone completely died on me. I got WP8 back on it, but it just quit a few minutes afterwards. Then, magically, around 11:30 last night it booted up. I set it up as a new device (still running WP8), and it's running beautifully now. I'm just going to keep WP8 on it for now and wait for the official release. I have WP8.1 on my 1320 and 520 to play with for now.

Bug: Unable to change the background image or name of the Kid's Corner

Has anybody else noticed that after upgrading to WP8.1 that you can't change the name or background image on the Kid's Corner lock screen?

I had Kid's Corner set up when I was running WP8 on my Icon. I changed the title to say "Gabby's Corner" and changed the lock screen image to a picture of her. However, after upgrading to WP8.1 I did a hard reset and did not restore from a backup. When I tried set up Kid's Corner like I had it previously, I could not change the lock screen image, nor could I change the name to what I had previously.

Am I missing a setting, or did Microsoft change something and not realize it?

i am unable to find the background image option in the kid's corner.
anyway, how to rename kid's corner? i am unable to find that also. anyway, my phone automatically renamed it over my daughter. i dunno how or from where it took info?

The problem I'm having is that after a while (2-3 mins) of using IE, it starts to blink white for a moment and closes by itself. So it's kinda useless.

i didn't find that. my IE works smooth as butter. absolutely nice performance.

​"Call dropped" issue on Lumia 920

Experiencing occasional inability to make or receive calls, SMS, MMS and mobile data. Network indicator bars are full (more or less) and "3G" is displayed like everything works OK... Have checked on the network side as well and the phone didn't detached it self from the network.

After restart everything is back to normal. This occurred two or three times in last 2 weeks.
Is this know issue or ...???

Dropped Wp8.1 and reverted back to 8.0. Too much issues on my 1520. I'll wait for the public release and hope that all these glitches will be fixed.

My Lumia 920 has been really nagging me since DP 8.1... At first, it started draining my battery like I've never seen before, battery life went from 24-30 hours to 4-5 hours. After trying everything I could come up with, I did a hard reset. Even though I backed up everything, I lost almost all my text / SMS (maybe because they were from my old carrier, but still, they were on the phone?), and Here Drive, Maps etc were no longer installed, I needed to go to the Store to get them back. The battery life is a little bit better, but not more than 10 hours...

The worst thing, though, is that the phone crashes like in CRASH! About 1-2 times per day, it is totally dead, nothing works, so I can't turn it on normally using the power button, and it is not responsive to USB connection either. Only way to wake it up, is doing a soft reset using Volume Down and Power at the same time. Anyone else noticing this?

I must say that if what I read somewhere "don't worry, DP 8.1 is actually the actual version sent to OEM's like Nokia, and the only changes will be whatever they do to customize the software", I'm leaving this ship
