Did Gabe Aul just confirm that MS is bypassing carriers for the 950?

Eh, its fine as it is now. The previous one just tried to quote Gabe's tweet, but it was too long. The only thing I would change is maybe add "for the 950" on the end or something.

You guys read way too much into Gabe's twitter post.... lol.

it says nothing about carriers. All he is talking about is including the 950/xl in the insider preview and making the latest build available to them.

There's a precedent for this... the "stop reset" hotfix that was pushed out to WP8.1, all phones worldwide. I don't remember hearing a peep about carrier involvement with that one.

When we see an actual firmware update, I'll be convinced.
